Jacob do Bandolim was not only one of Choro music's most gifted composers, but also the greatest mandolinist Brazil has ever known. Until this collection, Jacob's music was only available on foreign releases. Even so, he has quite an underground following of musicians and aficionados of quality acoustic and Brazilian music who hold Jacob do Bandolim in the highest esteem.
