NEW ITALIAN MASTERPIECES HAVE ARRIVED!
Thanks very much for your interest in the new mandolins designed and built by Corrado Giacomel of Genoa, Italy. I'm very excited to be helping this gifted builder promote and distribute these wonderful instruments. I was certainly impressed enough with his J5 model to take it to my first gig after receiving it, and I'm currently playing a deluxe custom J3 model that Corrado built for me last year.
I just received three Giacomel instruments - a J5 model

Also a new J3 2-point model featuring the same high quality tone
and playability of the J5s (price: $9,250.00 with case and deluxe
Italian tuners) and a brand new model, the J5 "Saturno" octave mandola
with eliptical oval hole (price: $14,500.00 with case and newly-designed
deluxe Italian tuners.) This unique instrument has a scale length
of 20" and may be tuned as a standard mandola or an octave below
a mandolin.
